01 — About

Infrastructure people rely on, secured end to end.

I started out on a support desk in Harare, resolving 45 tickets a day and learning that most outages are really communication problems wearing a technical costume. That grounding followed me into network engineering at Liquid Intelligent Technologies, one of Africa’s largest connectivity providers, where I spent five years on the infrastructure that carries a continent’s traffic.

My work spanned LAN/WAN troubleshooting, ONU/OLT provisioning on Huawei U2000 and NCE, fixed wireless access over LTE and microwave, and 24/7 monitoring through SolarWinds and Splunk. Along the way I kept discovering the same thing: the interesting problems were security problems. So I moved to New York to study them properly.

I’m now completing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity at Yeshiva University’s Katz School, backed by Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Cisco Security Core, and CompTIA Security+ credentials. I’m looking for roles in security operations, network security, or cloud infrastructure where deep network fluency is an asset rather than an afterthought.
